Beauty Resurrection Introduction.

Back in January I said that I wasn't sure what the fate of Holy Manicures would be. I started this blog as a freshman in college and now that I've graduated, I think know it's time for something different.

It took me a while to decide on my next step (and even longer to name it) but today I can finally introduce Beauty Resurrection, my new beauty site. I realized that I wanted someplace where I could write about more than just nails (but definitely some nail stuff too) and give my perspective on beauty.

I think it's going to be fun, and hope that you'll check it out. There's a little something for everyone, if my thoughts on butterfly clips and 90's movies aren't your thing, there's also a post on my conversion to DIY gel manicures.

That's it for now, thank you for all the support for and interest in Holy Manicures over the last 3.5 years!

Snowy Nail Article and More.

It's time for another update on my recent Beauty Blitz nail tutorials. Here in New York we have been suffering through an especially snow-filled winter, so of course I couldn't resist a weather-inspired manicure. You can find out how I created this slightly romanticized version of snow, here

If you would prefer to read a how-to for a more summery manicure, I also wrote my instructions for sugar spun nails, which you can read here.

2014 Favorites.

Each year since starting this blog I've selected my favorites of the year and shared them at the year's end (I'm slightly behind schedule this time.) I've enjoyed this little tradition in the past so of course I wanted to keep it alive.

Without further ado, here are my favorites of 2014 in no particular order...

Watercolor Triangle Nails

Reviewing my work from the year it was obvious most of these designs were from the beginning of 2014. As the year went on Holy Manicures became less of a priority for me. I've found that the pace that feels the most right for me are my twice monthly Beauty Blitz posts. While I still enjoy nail art I can't dedicate myself to posting every day or every week anymore. I'm getting ready to begin an exciting internship and start my final semester of college, so I expect to be very busy during 2015. I'll be sure to continue my sporadic updates and hopefully the occasional nail art post, but I can't say with any certainty that there will be a 2015 Favorites post in my future.

Fall Floral Article and More.

I realized today that I am horribly behind on updating my blog readers on my work over at Beauty Blitz. My favorite article over the last few months was probably the one detailing how to recreate this rose design.

I also shared tutorials for a favorite gory manicure, a tweed technique, watercolor fingertips, and leopard nails.

I think that covers all of my updates for now, however you can expect my annual favorite manicures post in the next few days!
